Accessibility statement

Last updated: 23 October 2026

We want every visitor to be able to read and use this website, including people who use a screen reader, navigate with a keyboard only, or need larger text or less motion. We design and build the site to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What is built into the site

  • Pages with an ordered heading structure, clear landmarks and a "Skip to content" link at the top.
  • Every link, button, menu and form works with the keyboard, with a visible outline on the focused element.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, and a readable label for every form field.
  • Checked colour contrast between text and background.
  • Your device's "reduce motion" setting is respected: animations stop automatically when it is on.
  • Pages work on phones without sideways scrolling and allow zooming.

Accessibility tools

A button with a person icon on the side of every page opens a toolbar. Your choices are saved in your browser and stay as you move between pages:

  • Larger or smaller text in four steps.
  • High contrast and grayscale.
  • Underlined links, a plainer font and wider line spacing.
  • Stop all motion.
  • A large mouse pointer, a reading guide that follows the pointer, and a stronger focus highlight.

Known limitations

Some article covers are general illustrations with short text descriptions. Some articles contain tables that need sideways scrolling on small screens. We review the site regularly and fix what we find.

Report a problem

If anything on a page is hard to use, email info@visualinnovate.com with the page link and what happened. We reply within two working days.
